Toran 3 — no rinsing, no heating and no waste
The world’s only one-step metal pre-treatment processes innovated by Chemtec S.r.l. are unique compared to similar technologies to remove protective oil and improve paint adhesion and corrosion protection.
The chemicals in the Toran 3 product range work in a single step:
– No water / rinsing / bath heating
– A non-toxic process that does not produce sludge or waste water
– The chemical is never changed and quality analysis is only twice a year
– The process is always ready for use and very fast; treatment 1–1.5 min, drip-off 5–6 min, drying 8–15 min.
– The end result is a polymer surface with excellent corrosion protection and paint adhesion properties
– The treated product can be intermediately stored for 3–6 months
– Suitable for all metals and paints
– Small equipment investment, and use does not require an environmental permit
The treatment is not suitable for oxide removal, and compatibility must be ensured if drawing compounds or mould waxes are used.
